P4I works with the region to develop the enabling environment necessary to plan, develop, procure, deliver, operate and maintain infrastructure that will underpin a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient future. We want partner governments and the region to have greater access to a variety of infrastructure financing options, as well as the information and capabilities necessary to ensure projects deliver lasting benefits to communities in a rapidly changing world.

P4I complements the Australian Government’s existing economic cooperation and development programs with partner countries and ASEAN. It also leverages the positive contributions ASEAN has made to the peoples of Southeast Asia. P4I’s vision aligns with ASEAN’s vision and objectives, such as those set out in the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025

P4I also engages and collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Australia's other Indo-Pacific partner countries. This reflects our firm belief that enhanced collaboration and coordination are vital if Southeast Asia is to meet its immense infrastructure needs in an inclusive and sustainable way.
